The silence is enthralling. I can hear the wind gushing by. The faint lights were approaching with a gurgling roar and putting the scene back into black sporadically. By this time, the dissonance of my transport was already in resonance to my system and was no more a trouble. The trees and mountains were as if humming with a constant pitch. The person behind, had been conversing with his love for about an hour. I’m not eavesdropping type but couldn’t just ignore the frequent acceptance of their love for each other. This definitely brings some smile to my bemused face and makes my eyes watery. The fellow passenger seems to have a tiring day and he took my shoulder as a sub for a pillow. I didn’t mind. There are many more things disturbing me and this barely has any significance.

I have never been in such a situation; dilemma has been overpowering me since I took off. How will she react? What should I say to her? What if she starts laughing? What if she disagrees with me?

I look outside the window; the moon has a beautiful shape, reminding me of my crazy friend who loves gazing at the moon, and the valedictory college trip. It was a beautiful journey and the fun we had is still unrivaled. It is all about that trip. That pact we made under a dim street lamp on a path to nowhere, just because we had nothing better to think and do. That moment of glory and freedom as our college was over and we all soon would be professionals.

She was the best thing that could have happened to me. Each moment spent with her was so amusing, and totally drove me nuts. With each passing day I felt I was getting locked up in the chamber of thoughts about her. I knew I was not going to be out of it. This unknown girl came from no-where and was already becoming everything of my life. We are so opposite. She is a typical Aries and me a Capricorn. We will never make a good match. She thinks so deep and I cannot let the kid in me go. She is so neat and me so random. She plans to meet me a week in advance and I agree to cancel later. She shouts, I apologize (Guys don’t have choices right). But there is this compatibility and understanding in being opposite which enhances the friendship.

A, S, V and me, we four were tied to this pact because of the romantic appeal of the place. Its serenity enticed us to come back here again. The home of Dalai Lama, his name itself makes it sound so appealing and perfect for the deed. We were supposed to be back here with our better half or girl friend or with the girl holding supreme importance to your life. A, S and V all three have found their ones. It was just me who is out of league, single and stranded waiting for a shooting star in my life. There is a huge Irony; when the pact was made, I was dating and all three were single and now, HUH!! The time is running by and everyone is waiting for me. Actually they are waiting for her to say YES, but no one knows yet that they are waiting for her in real. She is as much mystery to them, as her decision is to me. I cannot tell the world. Even if I say, that won’t be enough because I didn’t say it to her. That’s what I exactly need to do to be with her.

She has a knack of having everything perfect in her life. From her cupboard to her attire, and of course the perfect husband to be. I am not perfect. I despise myself tonight. Why am I not so perfect? Why I live life so callously? Why? Being a free-bird was never regretted until today.

There is no doubt in my mind where she belongs. I don’t need to think it over of being wrong or right. Is everything really meant to change?

The only thing I fear is the pitch darkness ahead of me leading me nowhere.

Today is the 19th of March. This day every year brings unbounded happiness in my life. This day is the day of the person who is responsible for my existence. This person is the reason for giving me the best gift in the world, my sissy. This day brought into the world the person who makes me smile even in the most painful moments. This is the person because of whom I have grown up in the best possible manner. True, today is my Mumma's bday.

Moms play a role which straighten the undulating path to success for their children. This world wouldn't be so good and worthy to live for if your mom would not have taught you how to look ahead for the positive things in life. She provides you with eternal and uncompromised love. For a boy no girl can be as beautiful as his mother and no soul as pure as her. Albeit not being highly educated, she provides you with the wisdom of life. She's the reason you are alive.Sitting miles apart from my home, at my work place, with so many people around, I still feel lonely. I wish I could have my mother by my side because a hug or two could make my head stable and focused. There are various instances to cite which makes her the best person.

I still remember the parent-teacher meetings where she would go on and on about how naughty I was. In return she used to get a reply, "You have an amazing child who is really good in class". She was left spell bound. Even though she wants to appeal against it she doesn’t because she’s fascinated that her son is appreciated and she is the one who nurtured him. The way mom used to rub my tears when I returned home after getting an amazing wound in the field. The way she still spoon feeds me lunch when I return home for a short vacation. Nonetheless, she's the best cook. No one can make "MURI" ( PUFFED RICE) or Bhelpuri, whatever you are familiar with better than her. My friends are there to acknowledge this S, A, S, K and R.

It amuses me the way she gets paranoid about me having a girlfriend and then teasing me to the core the very next moment. She always says choose your girlfriend wisely and at least she should be more beautiful than me. With the widest grin I can say that’s really difficult. Because every time a friend of mine meets my mom, they say my mom seems to be my elder sister. A fellow passenger in the train totally fainted in awe. My beautiful Mom!

There are endless amazing moments with her and each makes me smile. Tiny droplets fill up my eyes with the thought that I’m away from her. I miss her and her hug and her food. I MISS YOU MOM. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! Thanks for making me such a wonderful person. ( Friends don’t doubt, see I am writing a beautiful post for her breaking my blogging jinx). Thank you for everything you have given me in my life. Thank you and thank you. Love you Mom. YOU ARE THE BEST!

A EUREkAAAAAN thought ..

An insouciant thought struck my sleepless mind in the unusual silence hovering around me. This thought was who would be the most compatible ONE. THE ONE. Will she be able to stand my tantrums and my mood swings and my romantic proceedings out of the blue? Will she love me as much I do? Can I be the man of her life and dream ?

It sounds so cliched but I found an ultimate solution and guessed that an avid blogger will be the most appropriate choice. The best part of this decision was to be marked by my rationale thinking and not just a scar due to a lightning.

Why a blogger? All the good things I do will be posted in her blog and as everyone knows the fatal attraction drives more and more readers. Albeit the bad things and my mishaps will be mentioned too but in a cute way. The female bloggers will always have more followers and most of them are of same gender. I sternly believe that women seems to connect too much. ( ALAG HI FUNDA HAI ! ) So they will form a good impression and my social standing will get a good raise. My female count increases, raising her suspicions more and the likes and the sweet comments will make her more jealous, driving her closer than before. Arrgghhh CLOSER! Already ;-) with the thoughts!

The best part of her blogs would be I can know deep into her soul, as I have a strong feel after reading works of the alike, they mostly write about their life and happenings. So I don’t need to ask her anything, just read her blog silently. I can even find her first crush! :P LOL. If she’s angry with me, she will post it on twitter. As a blogger likes to tweet - just a mere observation. So I can strengthen my shield in advance to the next meet.

Being a blogger she would have faced lot of negative comments and feedbacks for her ‘random thoughts’ articles or technical articles. So in personal life, that will be really helpful to me. I believe girls are good at pointing out the mistakes! :D Who will save me from her knife always hanging loose over my neck? She will support and back me if someone hurls a negative comment or feedback about me. Even though she knows I am a loser with a capital L , she will brag about me all the time, how sweet! MY photo will appear more attractive on her blog. Even if I am a fat a**, I will look much thinner on her blog. That’s love. LOL, blind love! :P

She won’t hangout much, since it takes too much of her precious blogging time. The best gift for her will be some good novel may be Twilight or some Harry Potter. She will make me watch THE SRK movies. It has to be SRK. Dont know why girls wanna die for his same monotonous way of acting. Both keeps the money in my account intact. :-) Awww i dont mind spending it either but its always good to save right?

My girl will not be too pleased reading this in the future, but she will definitely have the widest grin in town :D

Home Alone - DAY ONE

It has been six years since I have been out of home, wandering as a vagabond so that I get the perfect curriculum and a perfect job somewhere. I've stayed in hostels and PGs and had a comfy time, as most of the household chores were managed by some other responsible person. One can just continue living callously, enjoy the studies, movies, chats and whatever they are upto. This week I was left stranded at home and missed the opportunity to go out on a family trip just because of this stupid date of joining the company and myriad formalities to be completed. This one week was quite insightful and definitely an eye-opener in various fields, which were an untouched territory for me.

My endeavours for one whole week will surprise some of the people who really know me well.

The very first night being home alone gave me a sense of excitement, "I have the whole house to myself." I can sleep anywhere and anytime I want. I can eat whatever I like and it doesn't have to be cereals. I can also have the Idiot box playing on my command and a relief from The Saas Bahu Serials and the Emotional Crisis which my mom feels connected to. The acme of my excitement wiped away my drowsiness and I ended up being awake the whole night to loud Trance music and to some of the finest shots played by Federer in the US Open 2010. The invariant timing of the newspaper delivery report gave me a sense of realization that it was already six o' clock in the morning and I should sleep. With peace of mind I fall asleep hoping to dream about something romantic and about the person who keeps me off the hook these days.

The panoramic thoughts were shattered in an hour when my neighbour rung the door bell as she needed a menial stool. "Didn't my mom tell you that I sleep during this hour and she won't be available for one week", I could hear this so loud as if my brain had a substitute mouth. I surrendered to the social standings and handed over the stool with a wide grin.

Bang ! My door closed. It didn't take me long to be in hibernation mode as one can imagine the intensity of inactiveness after the first hour of one's sleep. Before I could even reach the dreamy mode in my schedule of sleep the bell was valiantly instrumentalizing, "Tujhe dekha toh yeh jaana sanam." If it was not for the frame of lord in between the speaker and me, I would have busted it. The bell had its luck that day. I creaked open the door, my ears filled with the rustling and the banging noise of the dustbins held by the neighbouring flat owners and gossip lover aunties. The Sweeper shrieked, "Bhaiyaji, Kuda." Oh god!

I looked at the clock and noticed that I didnt even sleep for two good hours. Dissapointed at my luck, I dozed off again. For the next four hours I was lost as if I had been drugged or deprived of sleep for more than a week. Hours later on a a regular turn to adjust my sleeping posture, with a loose sub-conscious I could hear some lound Thumpings on the door. When you are deprived of sleep, everything happening around seems to be actuating in dreams. My apprehensions of being in a dream were thrashed when I woke up startled to another thump. Rushed to the door to find out that my housekeeper had been waiting outside for half an hour. She also claimed to have rung the bell over 200 times. I couldn't think of anything else but acknowledged her and let her in. "You should not disturb me for any reason until emergency. Close the door in automatic mode, when you leave the place ", I bossed over her.

Next I know it was 4 in the evening. My cell phone blinked with 47 Text messages and 22 Missed calls, amongst which 12 were from parents which gave me a relief. The rest were from friends calling me up casually. 47 text messages, all nothing but forwards exploiting the use of FREE SMS Vouchers by the Telecom Industry. Why is the Telecom business thriving so much to reduce the SMS rates to such a grade?

Mom was a bit angry when I rang her back and informed her about my sleep timings and me missing lunch. Albeit the call ended on a happy note when I promised her that Maggi would suffice my stomach for the evening and I will manage the dinner from some local food vendor.

During holidays, I often skipped shower but now I couldn't as I had to offer the prayer services and serve the lord in mom's absence. Another Sigh! Now when I was done with the minor chores which mom made sure I would do, I checked the refrigerator to find nothing good other than fruits to save me the pain of cooking. After eating a couple of apples I gave up and had Maggi which brought some relief to my stomach, suffering one of the major famines.

The rest of the evening whiled away blithely and the first day came to an end without anything else going wrong for me.

This was just day one where I did not even get time to think and to act. But to save myself from such further miseries I went to bed early that night.
Someone rightly mentioned " EARLY TO BED, EARLY TO RISE. MAKES A MAN HEALTHY, Wealthy and WISE !!!!! "

WHEN I SPILLED THE GLASS OF MILK, IT LOOKED LIKE MOON TO ME!!!

It is not soon that I heard mom screaming at the top of her voice to finish the milk. It was a regular stuff happening over and over again. I was ignoring her voice, a complete innocence though. The whole decibel level at my place could have invited the patrolling guards if I were in US. It was not just mom; it included the noisy quarrels between me and my sister. We were so lean into the fight that I tipped over the glass of milk and followed the deafening silence. “What happened”, she looked onto my face, not paying heed to the milk. I was so terrified over my mistake that I lost my voice. Everything else other than “MOON” was unheard in my reply. She glanced towards my sister who pointed out the dining area smeared with milk.

The slap was inevitable but the whole MOON thing resulted in a Uno count which could have been more. The smile signalling lower temperature under the roof was a relief. I was too small to realize what just happened but was happy that the innocence saved me. Sometimes we don’t even realize that how minute things simplifies the labyrinth path to our destination. The difference we see brings the difference in our life.

The age old saying we live the life on how we perceive a glass half filled with water. People sometimes omit their fears with an optimism and surpasses the hurdle much more easily than he would have done earlier. We all get caught up in our stories. Most of us think we are our stories. It’s when those stories take on a life of their own, and that life isn’t the one we want, that things start to suck.

Think about the story we’re living right now. Who wrote it? Did one consciously decide to create the reality we’re living now, or was it mainly shaped by our parents, friends, spouse, school, or the media? If we don’t like the story that we are living, then change the perception. Envision how we would write the next chapter of our story. Better yet, actually sitting down and writing it would help. Focussing our perception on creating a new reality, one where we are in charge of the story. We should take back the job as screenwriter and director, and stop just being an actor (unless someone is like JULIA ROBERTS – I rather enjoy her acting).

Everything begins with a decision – decide now to be in charge of one’s own perception of reality. Because if we don’t, there are plenty of folks whose sole purpose in life is to craft that perception for us. Do we trust them to have our best interest in mind.....?

Once upon a time in a city which is no more the capital of India lived a girl named " S ". Pretty in her cute dresses and ravishing looks made her an eye-candy. In a hustle with this existing world of toppers and no home for a mediocre, she chose a coaching center which promised her survival. The thing which is more important is not related to her persona but incidents with my friends which resulted in this post.

With every word " S " scribbled and each droplet of sweat dripping over her shoulders made the guys uncomfortable. Her aura was a nemesis for my friends(Just finished HIGH SCHOOL from all 'boys' school). S basking in glory, as always used to tease them with her flick of hair and a cute smile as an add-on. Those two hours of classes were traversed in no time as cited by A, one of my friends.

They felt it was going out of their hands to limit her never diminishing fragrance.So these bunch of idiots made her life menacing. They used to ogle her, throw silly comments and sometimes even stalk her. "Tera peecha naa hum chhodenge soniye", this is wat they used to sing sitting right behind her. The whole batch used to love there squabbles and they agreed to leave the seats behind her empty for my friends. They even managed to pull a prank at a local coffee shop by sneaking a bill of more than one grand instead of a mere 100 bucks. She walked down with the bill , crushed it with attitude and said "Who". All friends pointed to one. Poor 'SK'.

There it all started, the stalking became rivalry and all the chances of friendship were deep buried. In another such mesmerizing event where the batch was asked to play a game of "Truth and Dare", the idiots got lucky as she got stuck with a dare to be decided by them. They asked her to keep standing for a minute and kept gazing at her. It seemed they were measuring her through their eyes. She got annoyed and a second more would have resulted in plumed red cheeks as acknowledged by 'P'. BACH GAYE SAALE.

This was the lost cause where they could not be friends. Tried hard and failed miserably. Back to the present. "Its everywhere on news channel. The hapless girl we knew is marrying MSD", says 'P'. 'N' says, "If we could seal the friendship that time, we would totally be attending the marriage in Dehradoon." A retorts" Shes a s**t. She made out with MSD at Taj Bengal where she was working and now they are getting married." His wide grin gave us an acknowledgment about his fake pretense. All sighed with a remark that the Girl had her LUCK . She was a nothing and now shes the girl married to one of the richest sportsperson of the country. All claimed that there is shortcut to be rich and to marry a rich person is the best one.

She is a real life Cinderella. My friends are still trying to make a mark in their life and she is out living her dreams. Luck favours all. Mostly its in bits and pieces and for rest in such a way that it gets difficult to digest for the previous ones.

End of an Era : ISM DHANBAD

DHANBAD 20 MAY'10:

Its over ! Its done ! I have flipped away all the pages of the book of life in such a short time. No clue where my future is headed . No clue what I am destined to do . But I am all set out on this new Voyage where there are many more hurdles and many more rifts before success is mine and I can choose my destiny .

As the clock strikes midnight with me alone in the room waiting for my friends to return from their last meal together in Dhanbad, am having the most creepiest feelings ever. Next morning I will be gone, its all finished. It will be so dearly missed.

The journey began with an excited Shy kid pulled out of a room full of books in the open amidst 400 students trying to stand out from the crowd and make a mark. It was all about his passion to be creative and try every other new things possible. Make new friends who stay connected lifelong. So many things were imagined with Bollywood style college images reigning over mind. It met with reality soon and life continued.

First night in hostel Opal room 117 , Jokes by scientist CPP followed by proxies the very next day. Ragging period to some minor politics and playing Cards at night under halogen light fearing seniors to ruin the party . The Intelligent AMRICAN Kotu of 101 , the shy Chinkis of 122 , Obama and sincere ever helping CHOTU of 102 , the football papa of 105 , the APSGSAP of 109 , the ever studying guys of 110 , my roomie Boblu and me Bangali in 111 , Lazy Pilli and Sarvagyani Menaria baba of 117 , Shashtri and the smart ass Manju , these were termed as Godfathers (how can I forget Pyaar ka maara GULLU, who joined in next year). This was my group, amazing friend circle never cared to study . It was all about those counter strike nights , litti chhoka and chai at 2am , dhanbad station and during exam time running from one room to another, " KOI EK TOPIC PADHA DO BHAI ". Will miss those days .

After two years, wings changed and a lot changed . Few people got serious with their future , It was all about MS and MBA . But those chat sessions about wooing girls and brooding about a dull future followed by another episode of some TV Series or some kick ass Movie. Teasing friends , pulling their legs and avoiding Mess ka Khana, though people can never forget savoring Dal Baati. Many more things like Mailer Daemon and MD TEAM HANG OUTS (that meant long Meetings) , Srijan ka fashion shows and rock band performances , football and Calcio , TT and Muqabala , Pratibimb ke Dumb charades and raat bhar Sapphire ki chhat pe beer and class jaane ki naa thi kabhi kabhar. Days passed ...Placements done and now the pause where I did nothing but just gape and spend some quality time with my friends. Most of the time sulking with lost future over PSYCHOMETRIC ANALYSIS of PROMETRIC for CAT and the rest partayying.

I believe that shy kid in the previous block is much more exhilarating and outgoing after these years. But, there are feelings which makes you feel so incomplete. The gained creativity is all futile as the high profile Engg. has ruined my intellect and poisoned my thinking brain to some lazy shit. I guess good things comes in packages so no regrets. This place has though taken away my intellect but have given me memories of a life time. It has changed my perspective towards a lots of things and helped me dream big, being in touch with reality. I have made some friends who are there to help me and have inadvertently played a big role in bringing my life on track mostly my electrical batchmates Vikul , L, Kalle and Abhishek and Kohli, the omnipresent.
So much more and this would have never been possible if it was not ISM , my Alma Mater .

Here my friends are back and this few remaining hours will pass away singing aloud and with watery eyes .

This is an uprising trend in the country. Of late most of the girls think that its the men who are bastards but never had a fair thought about girls being a bitch. The girl here may be so ruined by one of the dude who may have used one of these tricks to ruin her chastity which coerces her to emote this text.

Women have been equally malevolent.Instead what do we see they tend to get away with undue blessing of being so called the Fairer Sex.

Mamata Bannerjee was hailed recently . Why? She got a Ladies Special local running, no sooner she swore in as Railway minister for the country. If she would had really travelled in one of these locals during office hours she would realize that people need more frequency of Local trains and not a Ladies Special (which by the way passes just as a train running in late hours of afternoon, half empty with ladies merrily gossiping about their KITTY PARTY) for the Soft beings.

A mate(guy) was made to write a supplementary exam while another just got HER tears at the right moment to evade the miseries for not justifying the rules. These two are just instances from many incidents happening day in and out, here and there.

Girls always pretend to be NAIVE but arent they KNAVE.From Mamta Banerjee to Sonia Gandhi , from Hilary Clinton to Bill Clinton's infidelity strike secretary.Its agreed on the softer side they have got feelings too. Men have been cruel to them but to start a genocide its Vicious Crime. The feminine group need to come out of their restrained mentality and believe so that its not only they who mean about those love promises sometimes GUYS too feel the same. Its no more those days where girls get led by the fake men. One should just think and act upon their feelings.Else people should mitigate these cruel evil doers tracking and nailing them to misery for rest of their life for the Happy society where some other blonde may not need penning down the faced atrocities.

One cannot live life blaming others and thinking everything they get is perfect. Sometimes life is a parsimony and sometimes its a cakewalk where both has to be surpassed with the same fervour else one gets lost in a room with no exits.

Life lived in 10 mins

It was 7 in the morning, the winter was not eliminated for the year and the spring not set. Just the right amount of breeze there in flowing and the honking of the train and screeching of the rails I got down. There she was standing right in front of me. Due to the rush of the crowd it was quite difficult for her to look out for me. My cell phone was shrieking . “Am standing below the foot over bridge, where are you ?”

Still she didn’t spot me, I m stunned the breeze blowing off her locks made her look stupendous. The moment had a scent of love, accurately tinged with the aroma and the beauty.
For me the crowd had no value and everything was passing by at such a pace with we both still and she yelling on here phone whereas am still gazing her. My silence made her more nervous. I begin my walk towards her, now I remember it as the walk taken by JUDE LAW in the movie CLOSER where he was flummoxed by looking at NATALIE PORTMAN with the background score of “ CANT TAKE MY EYES OF YOU !!!”.
Here she spots me with a wide smile and she rushes pass the chaos to a silence where she is blabbering on and on ,with all sorts of stupid and idiot and me unaware of her words. She shakes me up and hugs me. I thought I just woke up from a dream but realized it wasn’t surrealistic. Instead of the first ritualistic question, my first words to her was that she was stunning.
She continued speaking, the loquacious girls can’t help but my silence made the scene appropriate for some Bolly director. To break the chimes of the moment the parking owner called out sir. “parking fee.”
What a dumb chap the parking guy was! Never lived such a moment ever.

THE INEBRIATED PHASE

What compelled me to write this, isn’t prolong drinking by engg students (BRIGHT FUTURE PROSPECTS of the COUNTRY) but their behavior when INEBRIATED. Its not that I had been drunk and reflecting this piece on my behavior. Instead I am on the other side of the story, where people are TALLI and I tell them their explicit performance and activity.

During this phase, people let their heart filled emotions ooze out like blood gushing out after being shot by a bullet. The question arises why do they do so? There may be only two reasons. First being the person was sad due to those emotions so he decided to drink it over. Second, the person consumes Alcohol and then realizes that his emotions has to be confided to someone else his grieves may terminate his life.

The very serious trouble with the first time consumers is they are just sad and Media made Alcohol the symbol to eradicate these feelings. I tell you this is a BIGGEST misconception. Never think about those sad feelings while drinking because that’s an emerging factor for the SADDY cloud all around you asking you to drown in it.

One serious observation, people try to do things which they are not so good at. The critical point of risk taking ability is surpassed. You feel that you can just move the world around. This is one good reason one may drink because you may be able to talk to the girl, with whom you want to befriend but didn’t have the gut earlier.

Another observation is that the language of communication shifts from Mother Tongue to English. This was the weirdest of all. Why do they do so? This is still a mystery never got a unique opinion.

One should never underestimate the alcohols strength, as because the moment you seem to believe that so much of consumption and still not in a BEWILDERED mode. That very moment, it starts overpowering you so better beware ahead.

The worst part of drinking is that after a lot of consumption people tend to Vomit and just screw the whole surrounding made unfit for living. Few things to heed before drinking is that one must not be empty stomach or heavily filled before consumption. The next thing to be cautious is never have sweets after drinks it’s nauseating, finally leading to expulsion of crap from mouth. The other thing is loosing control over your own body. First, it’s very difficult for one to carry the LOAD who is puerile. Second, its really very difficult to carry.

The last thing is the CALL of INEBRIATION. After drinking people generally tend to resolve their differences. Some even break up as they were not satisfied or some ask for forgiveness due to some foolishness committed earlier. He doesn’t even know what he’s speaking over the phone but he wants to that person only. As he/she means a lot to him.

The last part of DRINKING is FUN. One forgets all his fear and worries and want to dance around partying. Celebration that is ultimate. One should always try this Heavenly piece created by HUMAN. Trying means not only to have a sip it means that there should be hangover the next day even after hours of sleep after passing out.

Don’t Expect too much out of Anything

It is high time as one gets over with his teen life he should realize that Friendship is not every thing in life. As soon as one realizes it, better for him/her. When we are kid we make friends. Then we grow old and now we can choose specific friends with whom we can confide every thing. What if one gets to know that friendship which meant the world for him is only superficial relationship. His friend just care enough to be there in your good times and one incorrect step he’s not there.

Follow this line as a LAW of RELATIONSHIP, “ NEVER EXPECT TOO MUCH OUT OF RELATIONSHIP” because once you start feeling that the relationship means the world to you, and one wrong step of the friend brings the feeling of a lost creature. Like the whole motive of the friendship is lost. Your feelings as a friend is overcome with a belief that all the great true stories of friendship are good for them but in this world no one really cares. It hurts and makes one sink to the deepest trench of grieves. The world is destroyed. This Law is the best way to survive in this pitiable world where everyone lives for himself first and then think else.

Other than this it also means that you should never share your deep sorrow to all because 50 % are happy that you are in trouble and the rest don’t care about your trouble. With thrashed expectations you can never revive your friendship again how hard you may try. At least when not expecting much from the relationship, everything is casual. No grief, life moves on. No worries, no cries. The spilt milk can be wiped of easily. The next day is exactly the same just one friend less of your GTALK or your phonebook. YOU ARE HAPPY, world is still as it is. LIFE MOVES on.

THE DATE - 09/13

People believe that sometimes you are superstitious and you don’t even know it. They are very true. Even I believed that 13 is the unluckiest number possible on this earth until this date which totally thrashed my beliefs.

The clock had just struck 12 and I was trying to figure out who is The Mystery Girl, chatting from branch mates ID. As she is a mystery to me I was trying to keep her off by low responses of the IMs. Instead she began typing “Jaaneman jaanejigar” etc like what the hell is going in her mind. Its not first time happening to me but still I don’t want to guess who she was. Earlier when I tried guessing I just pissed the one in front of me, if you ask why? Could not guess her name even in three chances. I felt this time its better to keep your hands off “THE GUESS”. At least she is convinced that she is making me delirious for not being able to identify but believe me I wasn’t. I might have just ignored five silly lines of The Mystery Girl and an IM popped up hey take me on a date tomorrow. I thought how much insane can an ISM girl be to speak such rubbish. I agreed to it and said o.k. lady am ready and asked her “Do you really want to go on a date”? Her next question was did I knew who she is. My answer was hit by a spontaneous rhetoric question “Ready for BLIND DATE”? I shouted no I can’t but knowing all was joke my hands typed in ohk no probs. Next line was that she’s sleepy and I said good night not realizing that I have to hit back and I replied dear what time tomorrow. Another creepy answer came in ask to ABCDFEGF. This made me realize that its true all was crap and I was satisfied that discussing such stupid things was fun indeed and even I went on to sleep.

After a sleep and lunch I was preparing to study until I got a call, girlie branch mate calling .She was informing me that my date is at 6 o’ clock and to reach a particular restaurant. I was still not convinced that it was happening and felt that it would be really embarrassing for me if she didn’t turn up or fool me somehow. On continuously being negative I agreed upon only after the Mystery Girl agreed that she would meet me at the college main Gate and then we move out together.

Its 6 and I am at the gate still no clue who she is. There she was with her friend who was going on a blind date herself set up by me. I was just shocked to see her; I had the intuition that she could be the only Mystery girl, but it was her. I was tongue tied.

We moved on to the restaurant, I was still not over with blushing and didn’t believe that this was happening being in ISM. If it was Kolkata it’s cool but in ISM it’s still awe. Before meeting her I made it a point to get the ritualistic chocolates and a yellow rose which girls do love to get on a DATE. Bad luck at such a place thinking of rose, how foolish of me and that to yellow argggghhhhhhh. As we moved on towards the table I thought it would feel good to her if I pulled out her chair to make her comfortably position herself. Didn’t work on the idea thinking its just normal dinner why I am making it look like something really big.

Recent movie which u had seen, if this is how you begin conversation means you are really lame. I realized this latter when she said that you always talk about movies and songs. I thought what else could interest her as my interests are games and girls rarely like talking about it even she doesn’t as she was that girlie type girls who can talk about every stupid stuff but not games. She has a boyfriend I knew and even she knew I had a girl in my heart so I bent over asking to tell me how it all began for her. Another lame thing, I knew but what else should I talk, just couldn’t realize. The next obvious question came in describe her and how you fell for her. It was our date what an idiot I am discussing it.

In the mean while I realized that she speaks quite less while eating, from less I mean negligible. Somehow I managed to cope with it by asking her some silly questions or telling some silly jokes to her. Until she startled me with a strange question, “What about future, will you marry her”? Was she in her senses, obviously if you like someone you can live as life-partners just as I replied. After this answer there was a long gap where no one spoke but we both had hands on glasses, fumbling & rotating it. We carried on over to placements and college and everything else people don’t talk on date usually. After a fine dinner we went on to CCD for desserts. No sooner we reached, we bumped into friends who also went out on date just because of her stupid request “Take me on a date!” Well, it turned out that the request wasn’t that stupid as it had turned out to be.

Next there was a short session where the couples were made to sing a song. First one ended with ‘PEHLA NASHA’. Next was our turn. She is a good singer and I just realized if I uttered a word it would be the scene of the movie “JAANE TU YA JAANE NA” where the lead actor was requested not to sing for the lady in public otherwise someone may shoot him. I got the song which I would have sung, “The HERO” by Enrique but as I sat down on the chair I was onto to request them that I won’t sing they all started taking snaps don’t know why pushed us closer taking snaps from two angles. In one snap we both were looking into two different cameras. It was quite a photo. Then I requested them not to ask me to sing as I was terrible and they agreed “OOOOhhh close call, BACH GAYA!!” Well someone asked me to answer that did I ever have a crush on her and if not then what’s all rumors about. She was asked that would she consider me ever if she wasn’t going with someone. Her answer was yes that got a jeering up. Don’t know what it was for as I never had a crush on her. Some still think I have a crush but people who are mad don’t agree that they are mad, how much one can try.

Here it all ended the girls have a restricted time limit and it was over for the day. It was really amazing to have her as my date. On our way back while others were shouting and discussing god knows what we both remained silent and as the time came I gave her the CHOCOLATE. She had a big smile with the possession of the chocolate. Finally the day ended I just could not stop smiling for the next 30 minutes. These three hours added a life to the dull going third year in college. Now, 13 is no more unlucky.
